Calicut University Computer Centre (CUCC) is the one-stop digital solution provider for the University of Calicut. The in-house team of the Centre has completed deploying major software projects and been involved in many major IT infrastructure implementations. The CUCC serves as a support sector of the University to provide the digital infrastructure and software solutions based on the requirements as and when arises. The Centre has played a vital role in e- Governance service deployment in the University and set a distinctive edge in offering better services across all areas of administration and academic.
The CUCC has a dedicated team with strong knowledge and command over the latest software and hardware technologies. The Centre acts as a technological partner and solution provider for various University Teaching Departments/Centers and the Branches. The inhouse team of the Centre has an administration hierarchy, consisting of the Director CUCC, System Administrator, System Analyst, Network Administrator, Programmers, Assistant Programmers, and Technicians. The administrative assistance and the secretarial works related to the functioning of the CUCC is also supported by the Asst. Section Officer. This activity report has been furnished by incorporating major initiatives and the short description of the projects executed by the Computer Centre of the University during the period from 2016 to 2022.
